I’m Simon, a wedding videographer based in Carmarthenshire, creating relaxed, cinematic wedding films across Swansea, Cardiff, Pembrokeshire and throughout South Wales.I’ve spent more than a decade behind a camera and have filmed hundreds of weddings along the way. My approach has always been pretty simple: make people feel comfortable, stay out of the way when I should, and recognise when something worth remembering is about to happen.No overly staged moments. No turning your wedding into a film set. Just the people, voices, atmosphere and little moments that make the day yours.

ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Simon

I’m a wedding filmmaker based in Carmarthenshire, South Wales.I’ve spent more than a decade behind a camera and have filmed hundreds of weddings along the way. My approach has always been pretty simple: make people feel comfortable, stay out of the way when I should, and recognise when something worth remembering is about to happen.I’m much happier behind the camera than in front of it. I’m a bit of a creative geek, somewhere between an introvert and an extrovert, and when I’m not working there’s a good chance I’m at home with my fiance Jess, our dog Murphy and, more recently, our son Macsen.

Becoming a dad changed something.

Since my son was born, films have taken on a different meaning for me.The little things suddenly feel more important. It’s made me appreciate even more that a wedding film isn’t just something for now. Years from now, being able to see the people you love, hear their voices and experience those moments again may mean far more than it did on the day itself.

Will we have to pose or perform for the camera?

My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, so for most of the day I’ll simply let things happen naturally around me. I might offer a little direction when it helps, particularly during your couple portraits, but I’m never going to turn your wedding into a film set.The aim is for you to spend your day with the people you love, not worrying about the camera.

How long will our wedding films take to be delivered?

My usual delivery time is approximately 12–16 weeks from your wedding date. Every wedding film is edited individually, and I’d rather give each one the time it deserves than rush it through.

Do you travel outside Carmarthenshire?

Absolutely. I’m based in Carmarthenshire and regularly film weddings across South Wales, but I’m also happy to travel further afield.Depending on the location, additional travel or accommodation expenses may apply. These are always discussed and agreed in advance, and a travel quote is available on request.

How do you work alongside our photographer?

After filming hundreds of weddings, I’m used to working alongside lots of different photographers and I always see us as being on the same team.I keep communication simple, avoid competing for the same shots and make sure we both have the space we need to do our jobs properly. The experience should feel relaxed for you, rather than like two separate productions happening around you.

What exactly is included in the ceremony and speeches films?

Alongside your main cinematic wedding film, you'll receive separate films of your ceremony and speeches.Your ceremony film captures the meaningful parts of the ceremony, including your entrance, readings, vows and the key moments you'll genuinely want to experience again.Your speeches are delivered in full as their own film.

How do payments work?

A £500 booking fee is required to secure your wedding date. Your remaining balance is then due 30 days before the wedding.Once the booking fee has been paid and your booking is confirmed, your date is reserved exclusively for you.

Most wedding films are currently delivered within approximately 16–20 weeks, although this can occasionally vary depending on the individual requirements of each wedding.

Each wedding is edited individually, and I want to make sure every film is given the time and attention it deserves rather than being rushed through the process.

Since becoming a dad recently, I’m also working to a slightly more flexible editing schedule while balancing work with family life, so turnaround times are currently a little longer than usual.

The estimated delivery window shown in the queue is the best guide to where your film currently sits, and I’ll continue to update this page as editing progresses.
